Pharma Plant Construction Testing
NABL-accredited construction material testing for pharma plant expansion — cleanroom slab flatness, ETP foundations, warehouse flooring, GMP-grade civil work. Strong presence in the BBN (Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh) pharma cluster and NCR pharma sites.
Pharmaceutical plant construction has unique testing requirements that highway / commercial-realestate testing labs rarely encounter. Cleanroom slabs need surface-flatness validation (typically per IS 4001 with FF/FL acceptance criteria from the project HVAC consultant), ETP / WTP foundations need water-tightness and chemical-resistance specs beyond a normal IS 516 compressive-strength check, and warehouse slabs in the dispatch zone need racking-load capacity verified per ACI 360R / IS 8042. Standard NABL labs often miss these distinctions — their report verifies the cube but not the use-case acceptance.
NKMPV operates a dedicated pharma-plant testing workflow with the BBN cluster (Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh, ~70 km from our Pinjore HQ) as our primary catchment. We have done concrete / NDT testing for plant expansion at multiple BBN-area pharma manufacturers and understand the specific GMP layout requirements (cleanroom Class ratings, HVAC plenum slab thickness specs, ETP wall pour sequencing, warehouse load-rated slabs). Our reports come in FDA / WHO audit-friendly formats with full calibration paper trail (NABL TC-14144 under ISO/IEC 17025:2017).

Pharma Plant Construction Test Workflow
From cleanroom slab pour to ETP commissioning — tests required at each construction stage of a pharma plant.
Cleanroom & Production-Floor Cube Testing
IS 516 compressive strength testing for cleanroom slabs (typically M30-M40 with HVAC plenum specs), production floor pours, and quarantine / dispatch zone slabs. Cube collection from BBN RMC plants with 7-day NABL reports.

M30-M40 cube and core testing for ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and WTP (Water Treatment Plant) foundations. Water-tightness verification and chemical-resistance support testing per IS 3370 / IS 13311.
View test details → NDT — ConcreteRebound Hammer for In-Situ Slabs
In-situ concrete strength assessment per IS 13311 Pt 2 for cleanroom slabs already poured, ETP wall verification, and quality-audit support during plant commissioning.
View test details → NDT — ConcreteUPV for Concrete Uniformity
Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity testing per IS 13311 Pt 1 for in-situ concrete uniformity assessment on critical cleanroom slabs and plant pillar columns. Identifies internal defects, voids, honeycomb.
View test details → SoilSubgrade CBR for Plant Roads
CBR testing per IS 2720 Pt 16 for plant internal road subgrade design, dispatch yard pavement design, and warehouse aisle road foundations.
View test details → SurveyTopographic Survey for Plant Layout
Pre-construction site topography for plant master-planning, drainage design, and plot grading. NABL-accredited DWG / DTM / contour deliverables for pharma plant DPR submissions.
View test details → AggregateAggregate & Cement Material Testing
Pre-pour aggregate testing per IS 2386 (sieve analysis, crushing value, water absorption, alkali-silica reactivity) and cement testing per IS 4031 to verify supplier certificates before high-grade cleanroom pours.
View test details → SteelSteel Reinforcement Testing
Tensile, bend, rebend testing per IS 1786 for reinforcement supplied to pharma plant pours. Structural steel testing per IS 2062 for HVAC platforms, mezzanines, racking system supports.

FDA / WHO / GMP Audit-Ready Reports
Pharma plant inspections by FDA, WHO, CDSCO, or third-party consultants require complete construction-phase QC documentation. NKMPV reports are structured to support these audits:
- NABL TC-14144 accreditation certificate appendix on every report
- Equipment calibration certificates (cube compression machine, core extractor, rebound hammer, UPV transducer) referenced in methodology section
- Code clause references against IS 456 / IS 516 / IS 1199 / IS 13311 / IS 3370 / IS 4001 / IS 8042
- Statistical batch acceptance per IS 456 Cl. 16 (sample acceptance limits)
- Photographic record of cube collection, sample identification, transit
- Chain-of-custody documentation traceable from RMC plant to lab to report
For BBN cluster pharma plants, NKMPV crew mobilises from Pinjore (~70 km via NH-22 / NH-5) within same-day timeframes for cube collection and on-site NDT. For NCR pharma plants (Faridabad, Gurugram, Greater Noida pharma manufacturers), project-mobilisation is supported with site lodging.
