Jammu & Kashmir Survey
Back to Projects

Project Overview

A topographical survey was conducted using Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) equipment for the proposed new road alignment under the PMGSY (Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana) Phase-IV scheme in Jammu & Kashmir. The survey captured accurate ground coordinates, elevations, cross-sections, and terrain details at regular intervals along the proposed corridor. This Phase 1 survey provided the primary geospatial dataset required for horizontal and vertical alignment planning, identification of major and minor structures, and the preparation of detailed engineering drawings for the new rural road.
