Sample Extruder

Sample extruder for removing compacted soil and pavement specimens from moulds without disturbance.

NABL TC-14144· ISO/IEC 17025:2017· Lab ID With 30 kg electronic balance

Sample Extruder — NKMPV NABL laboratory, Pinjore

The Sample Extruder pushes compacted specimens out of their moulds — for example Proctor, CBR and core moulds — smoothly and without disturbing the specimen, so that density and strength measurements remain valid. It is a standard support instrument in soil compaction and CBR workflows.

What this equipment tests

  • Extrusion of compacted Proctor / CBR specimens
  • Undisturbed specimen removal for density & strength tests
  • Support for MDD / OMC and CBR sample handling

Applicable Indian Standards

  • IS 2720 (Part 8) — Determination of water content – dry density relation (heavy compaction)
  • IS 2720 (Part 16) — Laboratory determination of CBR
