NKMPV runs several Hot Air (Drying) Ovens that hold samples at a controlled temperature — typically 110 ± 5 °C — to drive off moisture for oven-dry mass and water-content determinations. Drying ovens underpin a wide range of tests: soil moisture content, aggregate water absorption, and bituminous mixture conditioning.
