PMGSY Field Inspection — Himachal Pradesh

Project Overview

Following the completion of DGPS topographical survey, a detailed field inspection was conducted along the proposed alignment for the PMGSY Phase-IV road project in Himachal Pradesh. The inspection team walked the proposed route to review actual ground conditions, assess terrain features, and identify locations requiring special engineering provisions. Key outputs of the inspection include the identification and marking of locations for retaining walls, catch water drains, culverts, and other protective works required due to the hilly terrain. This field data will be incorporated into the final DPR to ensure the design adequately addresses site-specific challenges.
